How does technology mediate the artist experience?

This project, the situational tour gave me a chance to show my view through the on-line blog. First, I put a picture of the capitol. This is my one of the favorite building around D.C. I wanted to show how beautiful it is first. And then, I moved to the pictures of demonstration. Actually, I didn’t want to put many words because I can’t tell my feeling with my poor English, so I putted only some words. I putted the picture which the boy holds the umbrella of American flag. When I took this picture I was thinking about the future of this child and America. And I putted the words “what can we do for our future? In this country, you have a power of choice. Why don’t you choose to be happy? I hope I can create peace world with you..” I thought with these words, you can feel my intention why I took this picture and putted there. When I found the bone around reflecting pool I decided to use the picture of it as the way to remind the bone of dead.

I’ve never considered blog as a one of the tools of art. However, after this project I strongly agree that the digital media extend the artist’s fields. Of course many people can see the artists’ work through the internet and the artists can express their feeling easily with digital elements.

The situational tour

This is one of the most famous building
in the United States.
This is capitol.

People started to gather.

It was first time for me to see the demonstration.

People wore scary masks and formed line.

Don't use oil for the war.

What does government do for us?

People gathered here to show something.

the heart of peace

hope

mortification..

Some people had the plates with name of dead.
I couldn't feel the war really occur in the world when I was in Japan,

but now I thought it really occurs in the world. This is the real world.

This person wore a mant with Arabic.

How many people have died?

I mean.. how many people have killed.
I don't know..
All I can say is .. it is enough.

Do you love people?
or
Do you hate people?

What can we do for our future?
In this country, you have a power of choice.
Why don't you choose to be happy?
I hope I can creat peace world with you..

I'll go to Reflecting pool on the West Side of the Capitol at 5:00 PM.
I decided to go there because "march with pots and pans" sounds like interesting.
I think this place is something to do with every key word; ritual, ideology, security.
Smart people discuss everyday about their country but it is difficult to make a peace world..
